DOUBLE SIDED BARMARKER

The Frampton Bar Marking Grills have been developed to fill a need in the Food Processing Industry for grills designed to give a griddle effect to regular or irregular thickness products, as diverse as chicken fillets, steaks, burgers, fish, both whole and portions, vegetables such as sliced peppers, onions, courgettes, and bread products such as Panini and Ciabata.

Both the diameter and pitch of the bar marking bars can be specified to give the required bar mark effect. The bars can be from 5mm diameter up to 12mm diameter or square from 5mm square up to 12mm square. The pitch of the bars can be from 8mm to 25mm. The bars are heated by being passed between two sets of Frampton slab elements running at temperatures at around 650-700°C.

The machines are available in three styles

Under side bar marking machines mark the underside of the product and is normally used for irregular thickness products such as chicken fillets, This type of product generally does not need pressure on it, as the weight of the product is sufficient to give a good bar mark.

Top side bar marking machines mark the upper surface of the product. The product is carried through the machine on a wire belt beneath the bar marking belt. The height of the wire belt is adjustable and allows the product to be pressed against the bar marking belt. These machines are mostly used for products that are quite light, such as burgers, Panini or toast.

Double sided bar marking machines are fitted with two bar marking belts, enabling products to be bar marked on both sides simultaneously. These machines are generally only used for products such as burgers.
