The Frampton 'School' and 'College' Compact ovens,
as the names suggest, take up the minimum amount of space yet still
have the ability to consistently produce high volumes of a range of
products.
They have been designed and manufactured in the UK
by Framptons specifically for use in schools and colleges to enable
the principles of automated mass production cooking to be
demonstrated in a kitchen environment.
These small travelling ovens are very similar in
construction to those manufactured by Framptons for use in food
production in factories. They will replicate the full range of
cooking that is achieved on full scale ovens in all respects other
than volumes of food produced.
Both models are constructed throughout in stainless
steel and are insulated with ceramic wool to keep heat losses to a
minimum. They are fitted with Frampton patented slab elements and
have independent temperature control for the upper and lower
elements. The stainless steel conveyor is driven by a geared motor,
whose speed is adjustable to give a bake time from two to twenty
five minutes.
