The Frampton Flash Roasters have been developed to fill a demand in the cooked meat market for a machine to flash roast cooked hams quickly, economically and with minimum product weight loss. The operational principle of all three models of Flash Roaster is exactly the same. The product is carried through a high temperature roasting chamber on a stainless steel belt through a cooking chamber arched to match the shape of the product. The arch is constructed from unique Frampton slab elements. These are electrically heated with in built insulation and heat sensors. This enables the whole of the sides and top of the roasting chamber to radiate heat uniformly onto the product being roasted. As the temperature of the elements is electronically controlled, the roasting is very consistent. Similar slab elements can be mounted beneath the conveyor belt with independent heat control. Thus the product can be roasted uniformly. The machines are manufactured throughout from stainless steel and are filled with a high grade ceramic wool insulation which ensures minimum heat loss from the roasters.
